Day 1: Arrival in Shenzhen
- Arrival: Arrive at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport or Shenzhen Shekou Cruise Terminal, complete immigration formalities and take a short rest. (The 144-hour transit visa-free time will only be calculated at 0:00 on the second day of entry)
- Evening: Shekou Sea World Business District, experience the borderless bar street and large-scale water show.
Day 2: Shenzhen
- Morning: Visit the Shenzhen Merchants Museum to learn about the history of Shenzhen's reform and opening up. The museum showcases the development of Shenzhen as China's first special economic zone.
- Afternoon: Take a cruise in the Greater Bay Area and enjoy the world wonder of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is one of the longest cross-sea bridges in the world, connecting Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau.
- Evening: Climb to the top of Shenzhen's tallest building, Ping An Building, to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Shenzhen. At night, you can enjoy the light show of the Civic Center or Talent Park. Ping An Financial Center is one of Shenzhen's landmark buildings, with a sightseeing platform on the top.
Day 3: Shenzhen - Guangzhou
- Morning: Visit the DJI drone showroom or store in Shenzhen, experience drone flight and aerial photography, experience drone delivery, and take a helicopter to get a bird's eye view of Shenzhen. DJI Innovations Technology Co., Ltd. is China's leading drone manufacturer, and its products and technologies are renowned worldwide.
- Afternoon: Go to Humen Fort in Dongguan and Lin Zexu's Opium War, and then go to Guangzhou (about 1.5 hours drive). Humen Fort is an important military defense facility in modern Chinese history, witnessing the Humen Opium War led by Lin Zexu in 1839.
- Evening: Enjoy dinner at Guangzhou Tower (Little Waist), and then take a night cruise on the Pearl River. Guangzhou Tower is one of the tallest TV towers in China and a landmark building in Guangzhou.
Day 4: Guangzhou
- Morning: Visit the Museum of the Nanyue King (formerly the Nanyue Palace Museum) to learn about Lingnan history. Located in downtown Guangzhou, the museum displays historical relics from the Nanyue Kingdom period.
- Noon: Enjoy lunch at Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street and taste Guangzhou specialty snacks. Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street is a famous commercial street in Guangzhou, gathering many traditional snack shops.
- Afternoon: Visit Chen Clan Academy and appreciate Lingnan architectural art. Chen Clan Academy is one of the most famous ancient buildings in Guangzhou, famous for its exquisite wood carvings, brick carvings and stone carvings.
Visit Yongqingfang and experience the old Xiguan style of Guangzhou. - Evening: Enjoy dinner in Guangzhou and experience authentic Cantonese cuisine.
Day 5/6: Visit Taishan Hometown
- Morning: Visit the Overseas Chinese Cultural Village in Taishan and review the history of Southeast Asia. Taishan is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in China with rich overseas Chinese culture.
- Noon: Enjoy lunch in Taishan and taste Taishan specialties.
- Afternoon: Visit Meijia Courtyard to learn about the local architectural style and history. Meijia Courtyard is a famous traditional residential community in Taishan, reflecting the local cultural characteristics.
- Evening: Enjoy dinner at Guanghaihai Fisherman's Wharf and taste Taishan oysters and other seafood.
Visit Chaozhou Hometown
- Morning: Tour Chaozhou Ancient City, visit Han Yu Temple, and review Chaozhou history and culture. Chaozhou is one of the famous historical and cultural cities in China. Han Yu Temple was built to commemorate Han Yu, a writer in the Tang Dynasty.
- Noon: Enjoy lunch in Chaozhou and taste Chaozhou specialties.
- Afternoon: Visit Chaozhou Guangji Bridge and other iconic ancient buildings, stroll Chaozhou Archway Street, and experience Chaozhou's traditional market life. Chaozhou Guangji Bridge is one of the four ancient bridges in China and an important landmark in Chaozhou.
- Evening: Enjoy dinner in Chaozhou and try more Chaozhou food.
Day 7: Guangzhou
- Buy souvenirs and specialties, and head to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to end the trip.
